Fáilte romhaibh go léir. On behalf of the school community of Crosskeys National School, I am delighted to introduce our new website which will give you a glimpse into the spirit, ethos, pride, activities and talents of our pupils. I hope you find the information here useful and it provides a snapshot of our wonderful school which I hope reflects the warm learning environment that exists in Crosskeys National School.

Our vision is to develop a caring school environment where our pupils are happy and confident, acquiring an enthusiasm for learning where each child is encouraged to achieve their full academic, physical, social, spiritual, moral and emotional potential. At the centre of every thriving school is a highly dedicated, hard working and creative staff who create a learning environment based on play, fun and learning from the environment. As a professional body of teachers, the staff are committed to working in partnership with parents to ensure every child reaches their full potential in a happy and stimulating learning environment.  Our other school partners- an active Parents Association, a dedicated Board of Management and supportive Patron all demonstrate a huge commitment to the education and wellbeing of all our students and the promotion of  high standards of education within a happy, caring environment. We pride ourselves on the atmosphere of mutual respect and an expectation of the highest standards of behavior, work ethic and personal achievement. Our team strive to allow each student to become the very best that they wish to be. Learning for our pupils is about the acquisition of skills, knowledge and understanding as well as building positive attitudes and self- esteem while empowering them to meet the challenges of everyday life. We believe that a broad and balanced educational experience will allow our pupils to reach their full potential.

Our wish is that our pupils grow into responsible, confident young adults and of course with many happy memories of their time in Crosskeys National School. We greatly appreciate that parents have and continue to entrust their children to our care here in Crosskeys National School, it is the greatest privilege that they could ever afford us.
